GreenWITS just completed a study for one major designer of floating foundations !
During the early design phases of projects, there is often a need to quickly size the floater with limited WTG data.
Our capability to generate fit-for-purpose wind turbine models and implement them in any aero-servo-elastic software, including the tuning of the controller helps solving this issue. Based on this expertise, we are able to build WTG models, to perform coupled analysis and to deliver realistic aerodynamic loads using OrcaFlex, Deeplines Wind or Bladed software. Such models can be built either in collaboration with a WTG OEM or using our generic wind turbines library.
GreenWITS also offers an access to this database of generic wind turbine models ranging from 2 to 23MW, suitable for load calculation or power production assessment that can be enlarged by bespoke developments.
For years, our team of experts capitalized on the execution of several onshore and offshore projects with major players in the wind industry including key developers and most leading wind turbines and foundation OEMs. This expertise can also be mobilized to perform load calculation with fully coupled analysis of fixed or floating wind turbines.
